Basically, give your email address for a slim chance in the future to cash in if this becomes the next bitcoin. If you have Google Mail, you can create a sub-address by adding a + to the end of your email before the @. For example, I created gotbot+q@ gmail dot com so any email that comes from them or spam generated by giving them my email will go to a special folder and not pollute my inbox. Initiative Q is an attempt by ex-PayPal guys to create a new payment system instead of credit cards that were designed in the 1950s.
